The Kerem Laboratory at the Department of Genetics of the Hebrew University is seeking exceptionally qualified students for MSc, PhD or postdoctoral degree to participate in one of a variety of exciting new projects studying innovative aspects of early stages of cancer development.
We study the role of oncogene-affected networks, including DNA replication dynamics and timing, transcription and chromatin remodeling in shaping the landscape of recurrent genomic instability in cancer. We aim to reveal mechanisms by which perturbation of cancer-relevant pathways initiate specific breakpoint signatures.
The fellowship will be supported by a new accepted NIH funding.
We are looking for candidates with extensive molecular and cell biology background. Additional bioinformatics experience is advantageous.
Candidates with high motivation and excellent communication skills are most welcome.
Interested applicants should email their curriculum vitae expertise, short statement of intent and names and email addresses of three references to alinek@savion.huji.ac.il.
